One of the dancers was a Sowetan girl.
fantastic. And you've seen a heffallump in its natural habitat so I may not speak to you again either!

Bimbimbie. If they come to Brisbane, you really should go. Now I'm off to their website to ask for advertising endorsement royalties.Bainohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156193098088048637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34591549.post-53149797537019938872008-09-29T19:51:00.000+10:002008-09-29T19:51:00.000+10:00I've only seen bits of their shows on the tv - ama...I've only seen bits of their shows on the tv - amazing wonderment and all that - do you have a favourite out of the shows you have seen?Bimbimbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12427788003822538655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34591549.post-76930505292065364032008-09-29T19:00:00.000+10:002008-09-29T19:00:00.000+10:00OMG! They are animal free spectaculars which combine live music with the most amazing stunts, beautiful dancing, incredible costumes. Have a look at their site, it's great and if you ever get a chance to see one do go.

This kind of captures it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuexbQHrB-Y

Wuffa indeed they do, they take my breath away although there was a little too much poncing and dancing in this one the the acts when they did come on were breathtaking.

Ha well only a couple of them were mine Anne, I had to swipe the actual circus shots. Actually, I had a tall lady with spikey hair in front for the first half, then she swapped seats and blocked Amy's view for the second so we shared the neck crick!

Hi Gaye, I haven't seen Saltimbanco but It's my mission to see as many as possible. Clare saw "O" in Las vegas, all based around water. Ha if you're a littley, you can ask for a 'booster'!

Ah kj no longer a Cirque virgin. You'll be hooked, I warn you!Bainohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156193098088048637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34591549.post-967783817819880032008-09-29T15:49:00.000+10:002008-09-29T15:49:00.000+10:00i saw it too, baino!! just a couple of weeks ago, ...i saw it too, baino!! just a couple of weeks ago, for the first time. the talent and colors and daring and movements were amazing. cirque de soleil had been recommended to me for so many years, and finally jb got us tickets.kjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15122196887043345981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34591549.post-45465968580319772172008-09-29T08:12:00.000+10:002008-09-29T08:12:00.000+10:00Ooo you are a Cirque De Soleil fan yourself! I am hoping to catch Dralion before it is over.
Re. the smelly man: a bit of a smell is better than completely blocked view by someone tall and wide, which is what I get all the damn time! If there was a family of 4 with 2 kids, a mini mum and a fekin TALL father, I guarantee it'll be him sitting right in front of me. It's a curse all the way from childhood.
I am glad you got to see it and enjoy it.
GAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34591549.post-8380981690486342792008-09-29T07:45:00.000+10:002008-09-29T07:45:00.000+10:00I like your colourful photos, baino. I could never be a goth - I'd miss all the colour.

Poor you having to inhale B.O. though - horrible.

Slightly off topic I know but I'm reminded of when Him Indoors took me to my first Scottish rugby international match. He had only JUST finished explaining, before it started, that he had some jinx whereby either someone tall or someone who smoked a pipe always would come into the row in front of him just before the start, no matter where he went, than a very tall man came and planted himself right in front of him. And then proceeded to light up a pipe! Still better than Body Odour, all the same.AnneDroidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15381935612631976494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34591549.post-59890521763670517552008-09-29T05:58:00.000+10:002008-09-29T05:58:00.000+10:00I forgot to say something about deodorant. When I finally got the nerve to tell him to use deodorant he said he did not need it. I told him for my sake to please use it but he said it was unnatural. Erm not sure about his origins, but he did pong. When in Rome and all that!

Hi Michelle and welcome over. There are two in Las Vegas on a permanent basis!

Certainly is Miladysa, you'd love it a mixture of fantasy and talent with totally live music and loads of colour.

Ooo er Mr Quickroute hobnobs about town! Great isn't it? And to think they started out as buskers in Montreal.

It's the first one that got me 'in' Megan, now I HAVE to go each time they visit. And no . .I'm a 51 year old fat bat, that is my son with the bucket of fairy floss and his lovely girlfriend.

Ebony, she was amazing, they always have some sort of strength/contortionist and they're like rubber.

I loved the little enamel cups Ces and was suckered into a yellow salad bowl and servers with little daisies hand painted on it. The show was mind blowing! Unfortunately, this particular 'space' has possibly the worst and most expensive restaurants in Sydney.Bainohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156193098088048637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34591549.post-69780620226211167362008-09-29T05:46:00.000+10:002008-09-29T05:46:00.000+10:00Great pics!
