12 Apostles, South Eastern Victoria

More from South Eastern Victoria

I'm mad about Harry . . my girlfriend's dog!

It's a little cold for the beach at the moment and I'm not a fan of lounging in the sand but there's something incredibly alluring and changeable and tranquil about being by the sea, even in winter.

  1. Palm Beach looks amazing, a shame we never made it that far. And phew, those beach babes are pretty hot!!

  2. I grew up in a small beach town, and oh how I miss it. There's no where I'd rather be than the beach, and I'm counting the days until our annual August pilgrimage.

I've been to most of those beaches and I managed a guest house for a time in Bondi.... when I was younger and had way more energy :-)

  7. It looks lovely - the beach is always a good place to blow cares away.

Those beach huts remind me of childhood again.

South eastern Victoria pics are my favourite!!

  12. I wish I could work out how to make my whole post wider so that I can get my photos to be bigger. I have tried changing bits of the code, but it always messes everything up - probably because I haven't got a clue what I am doing! One day I am going to get my own webpage and leave Blogger forever!

  15. Nick the're Adam's girlf and a few other's

Heather it's just lovely to be by the water. It's my dream to move to the Northrn Beaches eventually

Well Ribbon, you're a lucky girl to be so close! I actually would like to wonder the West coast. I don't know what people like about Bondi.Srsly.

Wel Mel, in our dreams peraps!

Bondi is full of foreigners and sharks hehe. Yeh the Great Ocean Road is nothing but spectacular, photos don't do it justice.

Subby, Harry is doing what Harry does best . . sniffing!

Aren't the beach huts cute. Most are old and as far as I know only in Victoria but they cost a fortune.

Haha . . Wuffa we're a little frosty in the mornings too!

Lovely to walk along the water front GM. Did you know that apparently Donnegal is the Surf coast of Western Europe?

Yep nice bit of coastline Brian but a long way to traul your beach umbrella up and down those cliffs so they're largely deserted.

DBM I'm the same. Kimy gave me the code but I was too scared to use it. Once Clare gets crackin' I'll send it to you.

Moon, one is indeed Gibsons. Great piece of coastline although the NSW North and Sunshine Coast in QLD are also very beautiful.

Not much to tell Cali, they're sandstone 'arches' that have been weathered into single rocks. Once there were 12 then one fell into the sea and now there are 11 and there's another in the making when the arch finally collapses. It's a very rough and windy coast.

  18. I lost my train of thought! You should have put the Babes picture last, so that I would have paid attention to the rest of the photos! LOL!

  19. I couldn't agree more. But we don't really have a proper beach here in Melbourne, we have the "seaside". But there's nice coast once you head out of town (NB: The Great Ocean Rd + attractions are in southwest Victoria, not southeast). You would absolutely love Wilson's Promontory Baino. If you havent been, go next time your in Vic... pub orders!.

I spent my childhood summers rolling around in the surf at both Wilsons Prom and North Curl Curl on Sydney's north shore. Great memories. I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

    BRING ON SUMMER!!!
