And I can honestly say that I've never seen a red kangaroo in the wild. . . shame . . .shame . . .shame. Hey, it fits the Thursday Theme Red. . I'm sure others have much more to say.
Do ya know any songs about red kangaroos you could teach me? or could me sing "the red kangaroo sits in the old gum tree eating all the kookaberries he can see...."
Hey Baino,I am sorry to hear your week is not that good, for me too but nothing serious.Hope you'll have a better weekend!Talk to you soon.Have a nice day,if I can say that.
those are pretty cool looking 'roos (isn't that what you guys call them?) the one scratching it's chest reminds me of my husband, especially wiping the saliva on it's chest. haahhahahaha!
(gawd, he would so kill me if he knew I wrote about him like this!)
That was a very informative clip you showed on kangaroos. You remember how I posted on kangaroos in North Georgia last summer – there were a lot of them and the area was so large that it looked like they were in the wild, but I’d rather see them in Australia. They really run fast. I enjoyed that clip.
I always wanted to go to Australia...we do have a Bearded Dragon.. Australian reptile..
Thanks for visiting my blog..
Yes..self-love; self-care; self-respect; self-esteem.. I had to learn it in a 12 step program... and finally got it at 48.. better late than never (al-anon)
Aww... I love the roos. We fed and petted some at the Australia zoo many years ago. It was quite exotic, coming from where we do, where the roadkill is mainly deer and possums and squirrels. Theys all good eatin', though.
So sorry to read that you have had a bad week.... but, happy to have seen the kangaroos! Wow. After watching the red ones, it really makes you appreciate the later post about the rain (I love the rain, too). Isn't it amazing about licking their forearms to cool themselves and that the moms can bring up fluids from their stomachs for their babies!
That was a cool vid, I hope that next week is better. And to watch the boxing match was great. I guess about the only wild creature I get to see, is my dang possum. I hope you get to see the red kangaroos in the wild someday. It seems like it would be fantastic to do that.
but kangaroos are so cute...hope th week improves a bit for you though. put a smile on that face!
ReplyDeleteIf the kangaroos say red then it is red.
