Funny Fuckwits

Hello punters. True to form I have been a bad blogger. Nothing all week and almost closed the thing down due to lack of inspiration. I'm still enjoying The Tenth Daughter of Memory, preparing a couple of pieces for competition entry and looking for work which in itself is a full time job.  Also cleaning like a dervish in preparation for a visitor next week who has cleanliness OCD and wouldn't you know it, my pool has yet again gone green!
Anyhoo . . .Since yesterday/today is April Fools day and not one soul played a prank on me, I rather liked Google's bash and gettting their jollies on during this auspicious day. So no berating or stupidity this week, just a bit of fun.

It seems they are in need of an autocompleter and placed an advertisement for which of course, I have applied:

Google's quality team is looking for talented, motivated, opinionated technologists to help us predict what users are looking for. If you’re eager to improve the search experience for millions of people and have a proven track record of excellence, this is a project for you!
As a Google Autocompleter, you’ll be expected to successfully guess a user’s intention as he or she starts typing instantly. In a fraction of a second, you’ll need to type in your prediction that will be added to the list of suggestions given by Google. Don’t worry, after a few million predictions you’ll grow the required reflexes.

And of course there's Gmail Motion. Gmail Motion, Google Docs Motion: The latest beta technology to come to Google products is Motion. Gmail Motion uses your webcam to control Gmail. Unfortunately for couch potatoes, the motions that work with Gmail are full-body motions.

There, a little lighter this week wouldn't you say. Have a fabulous weekend. I get my new specs today so maybe I'll be a little more inclined post something of interest.  Happy April Fool's Day.

You are a true blogger, a thoughtful one for thinking of us. I really enjoyed today's fuckwits.

Baino,
You are NOT a bad blogger. I've been out of the loop since summer 2010. You are consistent AND worthwhile. I wish I could be that.

Oh my, those vids were so funny. The gmail motion man was so serious, it was hilarious.

And the only bad blogger is a blogger who closes up their site and never blogs again. If someone takes a vaction and comes back months later it is cool. Yea, Chris is back.

And look at me I have hardly been blogging, mostly because blogger would not "allow" me to, but then I go and write a post about "Hexting" and woohoo, I thought I would look it up on Google to see what it really means and my post is number 3 on their "Hexting" list. See even Google does not care if you take a break. Oh and foget Bing, you type in Hexting and they send you to heating. Does the hexting word mean I want heating. Dang Bing needs a psychic autocompleter. I need to put a hexting text on Bing.

Google rocks and will always be the best.

And if you run a search with "Mrsupole" I get first, second, third, etc...the whole search belongs to me and all of you, hahahahahaha, well anyone who comments on my page.

Anyway please never leave us. Who else can do a Friday Fuckwit like you. And good luck in your new job search, dang employers are nutcases for not knowing what they have with you working for them. You can tell them I said that too.

God bless.

PS...You know you missed my long comments. hahahahahaha

Best of luck with the job search, Baino! But .. I wouldn't bother applying to Google if I were you. ROFL!

Pretty good vids though - are they official or just a spoof?

As always, good stuff from you. Bad blogger? Not.

Baino I didn't realise that you were looking for work... it's been me who's been the bad blogger.

Three part time jobs have meant that my keeping up with my favourite bloggers has been erratic to say the least. I wish you luck - no, utter certainty and swiftness - in finding the right job and I'll pop on over here again soon. Kath xo

I bet they can't predict what I'm looking for. Especially if I'm looking for vegetarian restaurants that serve organic guacamole in the Sahara Desert.
