I'm mentally exhausted. It's been a hectic week at work with more to come as the financial year closes, so my head is full of superannuation contributions, redemptions and online transactions and two newsletters which are inordinately late! I have absolutely nothing inspirational to write or report. Clare is in New York, Adam is riding motor bikes, next door are embroiled in the soccer and netball season as is Babysis and her younglings. It's quiet, my home is spotless thanks to a tango with the crevice tool and a mamba with a mop and the Northern Hemisphere is asleep. There is absolutely nothing on the social scene this weekend which is probably a good thing, I'm due a little R & R. I stole this from Melissa at Forge Light, I thought it was cute.

Nice one! Particularly those gorgeous bears loving each other. What a slopbag I am! Now you just chill out and unwind, sweetie, no crevice tools or mops for a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture post. Handsome family and you come across as warm and cuddly like the bears!
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm, Smelly cheese. Yum. We're off to Somerset/Wiltshire on hols later this year, hoping to pick up some proper cheddar.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend, we're traveling a fair bit to a christening.
Haha . . Nick I'm so chilled right now. Couple of chardy's and a movie. I only shifted my bum from the couch because Grannymar was on Skype!
ReplyDeleteYeh, I'm a sucker for hugs. Bit on the cuddly side myself! No crevice tools for a couple of days! Man, I'm a once a week cleaner!
Thanks Grannymar, Yep, the light of my life they are . . the one thing I did to perfection . Cuddly is as cuddly does. Although be rude to me and I'll brandish those canines (not at you of course) Enjoy your photo walk, I wish I could come with you . . .
Ooh Thrifty , just popped in there between comments. Ah Christenings ...I was Godmother to my niece who poo'd all over our antique wedding dress in a most unceremonial way. Dead nice holding a 'warm' baby! Christenings are always good for shits and giggles! Literally. Cheers Cheese!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures especially one with the polar bear
ReplyDeleteRopi . .you want a hug like that, you come and visit your Aunty Baino! And I'll teach you some English that you're teachers won't know!
ReplyDeleteI always suspected it...
ReplyDeleteand these pics confirm it...
You're some cool dude, Baino!

Northern hemisphere asleep?
ReplyDeleteDo you mean the Japanese keep different hours from Oz?
Ian . . dramatic licence my boy! Sometimes you are so . ..so . ..so . . .pedantic. OK Japan is only an hour behind us I should have given latitudinal coordinates. Hey, it's 21:22 in Vladivostok . . I need a Russian blogpal! I get my longtitudes and latitudes mixed up.Note to self: *never argue with an astronomer*
ReplyDeleteDa Kath and Kim Code is on TV tonight, mustn't miss. I've seen most of the individual episodes. They're a hoot! (All together now: Kimmee, look at moi, look at moi, look at moi)
ReplyDeleteLoved the bear hug, nearly as much as the celebrity crush, who's he?
ReplyDeleteDebs x
Nick: Kath and Kim is not so far from the suburban truth. There is actually a shopping centre called Fountaingate and suburban houses are exactly like theirs. Netball is a winter fetish but fortunately, there's less lycra around these days!
ReplyDeleteDebs, welcome to the antipodes. I'll pop over to your place shortly and take a peak, how on earth did you find me? The squeeze is Hugh Jackman, Aussie Actor who appears in XMen, Swordfish, Mission Impossible, Van Helsing but known best for his Broadway portrayal of Peter Allan. . .down to earth nice guy and very easy on the eye!
The film was a big disappointment. Like a 30-minute episode spun out laboriously to feature-length. The only good bit was Kath and Kim playing two pretentious English women in a boutiquey-type shop. Otherwise dire.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea and the pictures do a superb job of summing you up...Helen! Can I copy this, cos I too also spent yesterday doing all kinds of evil-but-necessary things with brooms, mops, sponges and squeezy bottles...
ReplyDeleteHi Kath - go for it! It's a nice little meme for when words fail.
ReplyDeleteYeh! And my family think I work five days a week! . . .they forget about the Saturday shift!
