Theme Thursday "Animal"

This Thursday the theme is "Animal".

Everyone knows, that I have a special dog. Everyone knows that I love my dog. Everyone knows that she's number 2 in the pecking order at my place. Everyone knows she's just the ants pants. Even she knows she's hot! One thing she doesn't know . . . she is . . .is an ANIMAL!

See Lily snuggle on my bed . . .

See Lily fetch . . .

See Lily run . . .
See Lily swim . . .

See Lily shake it like a Polaroid picture . . .
See Lily bound after rabbits . . .
See Lily chew . . .

Now Lily sees you . .

What great shots you have!

I think 'shake it' is my favorite.

Hi Lily!

Lily is beautiful and full of life or is she just full of "it?" Yes, it looks as if she is unaware she is an animal. Thanks for introducing us to the amazing Lily!

I'm typing this one-handed as I've a puss cat snuggled up on my shoulder while I do my morning read of blogs.

The great thing about animals is that their love is unconditional they can't answer you back!

Seeing the one with the stick, I wouldn't like to be a would-be intruder. She looks as though she could do me a nasty injury!

Ah, I want a hound. Lot of responsibility though.

I love this post. Please let Lily know that I enjoyed her seeing me as much as I enjoyed seeing her.

I really liked all the pictures of her. I can see why she is number 2 in the pecking order.

God bless.

Lily is so beautiful. She looks just like my Ralphy did. Labs are wonderful pets, aren't they? We had two yellow labs.

What a beautiful animal. I love that name Lilly. She has a very pretty coat. I especially like the chew picture because she looks like she is growling. I always grew up with pets and I am so gld my children are now learning to have a pet (Daisy) who can do more than eat and poop (Snowflake) or swim and swim (Wally).

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... I think I might steal her ... how adorable is she !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Uh, I am afraid of dogs. It is a kind of phobia. I just can't stand them around me.

Baino,

You are so lucky! First to have had the love of a Siamese cat for seventeen years, and now to have this beautiful dog, Lily.

Thanks for the photos and for stopping by today.

Picture tales are great. Good to see you have so many pictures of her, it's a pity of people often forget to take pictures of their pets.

Animal? It doesn't look like Lily even knows what you're talking about. She absolutely knows her place. I especially like the one on your bed.
Thanks for Sharing Lily with us.

what do you mean lily is number 2? she's number 1 in my book - what a beautiful dog and a beautiful name (my cat bubba, may he rest in peace, mother's name was lily - may she rest in peace....) she too was a beautiful animal!!

but lily, until we move on to another plane of being, we're all animals.....

Thanks everyone, I loved your comments and I've tried to get round to all the Theme Thursdayers given my crappy internet (10 days till superfast but who's counting) Kind comments indeed and yes, she's the light of my life and gets far more attention than a pooch deserves. What can I say . . dogs are the best people! Love your pets too, they're triffic!

Awwww!!! She deserves it! You know she does! :-) Scratch 'er behind the ears and baby-talk to her!

Lily is gorgeous!! I love the one on your bed!

The one thing I would change about having greyhounds is that they don't swim - or if they do, they don't swim well. This means I can't let them off lead on the dyke tops in winter for fear of them falling in and being swept all the way to the coast!

oh, i just love the way you wrote this - she's #2 in the pecking order... ha! your love and commitment to your beautiful dog is shown here in these words and pictures. i am dog lover myself. always have been. my picture is my little, loopy oreo whose lot in life is to eat and play frisbee. his partner, rocky, a springer spaniel, is the "protector." two different personalities. they're actually my daughter's and we get them every weekend (like a bunch of kids, no?) and she gets a break and they get to come and run around in the yard to their heart's content. the thing they have in common with your dog? they do not believe they're animals either! our fault. we treat them as part of the family and that's what they are! i'm okay with that. they bring us joy and they are beautiful, loyal creatures and how more perfect can life get?

Love Lilly's face in the water slide shot ... she's no animal you've got a kid in a lab suit ;)
