Friday Fuckwit

Well it's been a busy night. Technical probs, old friends online and a job offer . . still it's Friday and we all know what that means.   Fuckwittery:
A Romanian woman did not report her husband’s death for two weeks because she thought he was faking his death to get away from her. "Can't fool me, get up, you stiff!"

The 72-year-old woman told police in Vaslui she wanted to make sure her husband wasn’t trying to trick her by faking his death so he could start a new life with his mistress, so she sat over his body for 14 days before going to authorities.
Police said there were no signs of foul play and that the dead man had a well established heart condition.
Till death do us part … uh, maybe not.
 Wasn't he a bit stinky?

And this, is for no other reason than I love Barber and  had a little party  on my own tonight and felt incredibly guilty at shafting my golden boy but . . there is this remarkable  piece.  When I die . . please, please, play  it at my wake . . .

Have  a good weekend!

Well, it is like an inverse Romeo and Juliet story. You act to be dead to get rid of the wife. Not bad... :D

  4. Anyone who could stay completely motionless for 14 days would have to be Superman. Or a pretty clever Buddhist guru.

  5. What, no stink? Maybe he (or she) didn't bathe much in the first place and thought it was normal.

Awesome tune! (But I hope you don't get clubbed to death, 'cause that would just be in bad taste to play that at your wake, unless, of course, you died while "clubbing", in that case you would have died doing something you enjoyed!)

  6. Yikes...she really wanted to make sure, didn't she. Very weird. But that's what makes for a good fuckwit tale.

  7. ooh that's stinky... two weeks with a dead guy :(

You do good music Baino :)
it would be a very dramatic tune to play at a wake but a great dance party xx

  8. Somewhere in the US, possibly New England, an old lady was found living in her home with the corpse of her husband, who died 10 yrs ago and the corpse of her sister, who'd died recently. I believe they said she dug them up? I don't know how as the woman is in her late 80s but, this is true altho' I can't recall where I saw the story. It, apparently, just occurred. Makes a complimentary Fuckwit to yours.

  10. foo! if this guy with the 'well established' heart condition did have a mistress, then he wouldn't have croaked at home, would he have?!

  11. Just as well he didn't wake up he would probably have got the old stake through the heart, being in Romania ;)

  16. You wouldn't catch me sitting for two weeks over a dead body. He'd be in the wheelie bin and out to the footpath for collection.
    (just kidding)

  18. I can't wait to hear about the job offer. I hope it's a great one.

That woman was 'tetched' in the head and her olfactory nerve was dead, too. You think?

My word verification is crudd. Most apt.

  20. Good grief. I couldn't stand fourteen days with my husband, dead or not. I guess at least he's not saying anything stupid and hurtful, or making a mess, but still...

  21. Great music.

This story reminds me of something that happened a couple of weeks ago in the Netherlands. I have to say... we win this one! You'll have to read this week's Trifles.
