Looks like a fun time ... I'm so over the heat....sweltering here too ...tonight in the last 2 hours we've had a little rain and a lovely cool change too.
Ohhhh how wonderful is a slightly wet cool breeze. Love it.
A beautiful family enjoying a beautiful day with a perfect ending.
wow. that's hot...it's like you live on the other side of the world or something
Good times!
Yes we're on fire here in the hills east of Perth city.
They're devastating and still burning... many homes lost.
No loss of life reported at this time.
Hopefully they will be under control soon.
Sleep well
Stay cool

We are in the 70's right now during winter and in a few months when you are cooling down we will be heating up and then be in the 90's and 100's most of the summer. Half of the US is freezing and we are nice and warm during the days and cool at night. This is the best time of the year here and I wish it could stay this way all year, but alas the electric company will soon own us again. Running the AC just keeps getting costlier and costlier each year. But I could not survive without it and so am screwed. Oh well such is life.
It looks like you all had a great time and I know what you mean about those cooling winds. Once in a while we get those and they are oh so sweet. But now I have got this craving for macaroni salad and fried chicken, not sure why. LOL
I hope you had a really good sleep, 50 degrees is a good temp to sleep in.
Hopefully it will cool down for you all and that bad weather will stop.
God bless.
Wow, I wish my laundry dried in 20 minutes! Don't think I'd enjoy the accompanying temperatures though....
good food. good peeps. good fun. some day i will have to jump the pond and join you...
the gorgeous lush foliage I feel myself there..
I don't know if anyone is happy with their weather right now. We have had below normal temps and a ton of snow and now my house drains are blocked up and we don't know if it's ice in the drain lines, a full septic or saturated leach field. Jeez. I do know it's Sunday and it's time & a half or double time to snake so we're toughing it out til tomorrow. ugh.
We're having a heat wave here in Central PA, too; 38º F (3º C) today and 45º F (7º C) tomorrow. Hey, that's tropical for this place at this time of year!
Yum...that chicken and pasta salad roll looks delish!
Oh stop complaining ;-) Or just don't show us those very relaxed photos of happy people, nice food and champagne. Please! It's 9 Celsius (which is warm for the time of year) at the very most over here, but the wind is so strong that I haven't slept in three nights now, worrying about trees blowing over and falling on the stables and non-glamourous stuff like that.
(How's your friend?)
Hugs,
Carolina
An hour of that heat and I would melt, but I would like a little of it on my back right now!
I get very cranky in the heat and humidity! At least when you're cold you can put on a sweater and have a cup of tea!
But your picnic looks fun! And I want that chicken salad and roll! yum. :)
Fires still burning over here in the West, one of my work buddies may have lost her house :(
how's your cleavage hells? still dripping wet?
i always love seeing your family and friends picnicking and partying together. that is a blessing not everyone has.
i would know clare and adam anywhere now. please make sure they know who i am so they would not have me arrested if i ran toward them, arms outstretched in joy :)
♥
Looks like fun. Well, all except the heat. In heat like that, my face gets red and stays that way. Not good.
I love seeing your photos, Baino. They show the love and affection you have for your family, friends and place and give us a little 'invite' to join in too.
That looks like a lovely picnic, but I hope you checked under that blanket for naughty redbacks and funnel webs. Surely those things creepy-crawl everywhere...
... how many times a year do you get bitten? Do you keep antivenene in your fridge?
OK I'm doing my 1st class whingeing Pom act here but bloody hell it must be terrifying knowing those bastard critters are sneaking around your garden! Round the outback. Wherever you go you can't be more than 10 foot from somehting that could kill you or at least gecha an amputation. Nasty business!
Your weather looks yummy by the way. don't complain. We had ice on the streets only 2 weeks ago...
That southerly buster saved my life. I was ready to lie down and just melt away.
That picture was amazing with the weather coming in. Complete change from the other ones. I love these photo posts. I always feel like I was there.
What a great view from Lavender Bay. Don't know Sydney all that well, so great to see you born-and-breds out and about in it. Beautiful family pics. Love those inter-generational get-togethers.
Yes, can't handle that kind of heat myself, In facI I loathe summer days. Give me that Southerly as you call it any day!
