A Horse of a Different Colour
lol. its so hard when the words wont stop moving for me to read them...smiles.
The quote is brilliant, and the funny thing is that almost anything attributed to Henny Youngman was probably first said by someone else. That's just part of the man's genius.
When I read about the evils of reading, I gave up drinking.
Christopher has a point; this one sounds like he stole it from W.C. Fields.BTW, we have a Black Pearl restaurant here in Newport, too. Down on a dock in the harbor, serves great clam chowder and the "Pearl Burger", a hamburger with all kinds of ingredients, including fresh mint. You have to eat it to believe it!
Yes, indeed! The man has a point. Too funny!
if i had one, i'd say [also from youngman]: take my wife... please!
i'll drink to that...and fall over.
LOL!Priceless!:)I'm going to pour myself a drink, voilà!Cheers Baino!
That's hilarious! I woke up MOnday after my half marathon with a full on allergy attack. I figured it was either the running or the wine I drank after. Must have been the running!
You can never go wrong when quoting Henny Youngman~~hyuck, hyuck!! Damn, I've missed a lot over here!!!(cue Mickey Mouse as Ahnold )~~~I'll be back!

I gave up reading...when I discovered the joy of drinking ;-)
