Rogues Gallery and Cartoon Characters!

I found these and they're so much fun. . .What else do you do on 'recovery' day? You pootle on the puter. Most of yesterday was spent skyping and fiddling and emailing, and slobbing and creating a virtual gallery. I found this at Ribbon's place and then a friend and I have been mucking about on this!

Make your dog a cartoon and frame her
Totally Warholian if you ask me!

This is actually a playful shot using lasers and my glassware cupboard . . .

Luscious rolls of creamy, dreamy warm chocolate on the chocolate fountain . . .

A beautiful medieval style door from the artist's retreat at Montsalvat in Victoria . . .

And a combination of cartoon and self-portraiture in my online gallery!
Almost an Archibald Prize Winner don't you think!
Now that's quite enough navel gazing for one weekend!

Love the one with the chocolate. And the self-portrait's brilliant. Not bad for a bit of post-party doodling.

I love the self portrait. And the one with the laser and the glassware cupboard, I thought was, well, maybe, butt crack (on the right)?

Great art work!

My first thought when looking at the melting chocolate was "Bum."

Best wishes Ribbon :-)

Great time wasters Meg!

Haha cartooning myself hides a multitude of sins Nick!

The laser one Adam and I mucked around with one night. They're actually illegal here unless you use it to play with your cat, I kid you not!

Someone asked if it was folds of skin urgghgh!

Great pictures, and am surprised that you could do anything after a night of parteehing. I think I had to stay in the bed after big parties if I was partaking of the spirits. Now I rarely partake of anything but food at parties. I love the laser picture and the self portrait.

For some reason I like the door picture a lot. It would make for a good puzzle if not put in order. Wonder what would happen if you tried to get through it.

Glad you had a nice weekend.

G'day Mrs. The door is absolutely lovely. Montsalvat is an artist's retreat in outer Melbourne and the whole place was hand built in the French provincial style by the Heidelberg school at the turn of the century, very inspiring and a wonderful photographic subject. Have a look on the Flickr site if you're interested.

No worries Babzy, as a strictly hack photographer with a camera far more sophisticated than my skills I love photo blogs. I can only keep up with Kris because he just posts one photo per post. Crappy internet has prevented me from visiting many because it just took too long for them to load. Bienvenue!

Ooh, what fun - looks like just the sort of procrastinatory excuse I don't need! Off to check it out now!

BTW, you mentioned you were pootling and fiddling and emailing - so...where's my email, then? Huh? Huh?

You make a pretty picture Baino. You can keep the milk chocolate I prefer the dark.

I look forward to the results of your photo walking.

Looks like you had a lot of fun 'pootling on the puter' (love that phrase!)

What a great way to spend a bit of spare time. I love the medieval door.

Sorry Brian . .not my words!

It's a lovely door Candie. .

AV I knew you'd love it! Such a time waster and I'm so, so, sorry about the lack of emailing. I swear I sent a HUGE one to you before you went on hols . .I will rectify all on the weekend. Promise.

Yeh I like dark too GrannyMar but it takes more 'heating' on the fountain . . lots of chocolate on that thing and it has to be high fat uber creamy . .way off my menu!

Cinnamon Pootling is my propensity. I am extremely good at Pootling!

River I spend too much time doing unconstructive prograstinating when I should be cleaning, painting, liberating cobwebs . .
