Final Farewell Bash . . .

It began with a little splash. . .

But soon they got bigger . . .

Things started to slide . . .

Some were pulled along . . .

Some took soapage seriously . . .

Some preferred to boogie . . .

The emos preferred the shade (Look at the expression on my brotherinlaw's face!)

Later things started to sizzle . . .

The sports bar opened . . .

Cake was cut . . . something about my daughter and knives!

The boys hammed it up . . .

The bottlage accumulated . . .

And by this morning . . .some were feeling a little fuzzy . . .

Others soaped up . . .

Slid down . . .

And started all over again . . .

All in all 14 hours of very successful partying, 80 odd people, 100 sausages 50 kebabs, 100 bread rolls, four kilos of salads, four sulo bins full of bottles, only one breakage and not a skerrick of food left in the fridge except caramel mud cake!

Guys, it was an all ages gig. I just didn't get a shot of the groovey grannies or Babysis. It was a busy, sunny and fantastic send off! I'll miss the younglings although one is coming over on Sundays for brie and catchup the other to bitch about Mitch.

Wow! That was the party of the decade. Well done all. Now rest up Baino.

Remember I am only a Skype away when you want to talk.

Caramel mud cake? If it tastes as good as it sounds, I'm sure I'd have finished it up for you. Or were you saving it for yourself for a little treat after the hard work?

That sliding thing and pool must have been fun. It is easy to make a big splash in the water but it is painful. The bigger surface you reach the wather the bigger splash you make. Simple physics.

GM: Big recovery day yesterday, fortunately, it was a long weekend so not too much damage done.

Nick: Tasted great, but I'm not a sweet tooth. Plenty left in the fridge!

Ropi: Lots of fun but lots of bruises this morning, the ground is quite hard. And you're right about the bellyflops. The trick is to tuck your legs underneath and 'bomb'.
